My New to Me HD Shotgun

Recommended Posts

I have been looking for this version of the Ithaca M37 for many years

and finally found one from an guy at a gun show. This is a DS Police Special

7+1, it has been a safe queen and is beautiful example of a classic HD Shotgun.

You don't hear a lot about the Ithaca that much anymore but back when I was

growing up it was a very desired shotgun. I'm lucky to have found it.

It's not an example of your evil black shotgun but its definately an example

of fine old world craftmanship. Just thought I'd share. Heres a link on its history.

I like it!! I got its brother (...i think it is the newer model; sadly....) in the gun safe. The model 37 is a great shotgun. I believe that the ithaca was what the winchester model 12 should have been. That's pretty serious company!

Enjoy!
