Oberndorf Swede

While in WY I purchased a M96 swedish mauser 6.5X55 cal. It shoots great and is in remarkable shape to be made in 1900. I read that only 40,000 of these were made for a Swedish contract until Carl Gustav could get tooled up for production. All numbers match except for floorplate and rear sight. Any idea what it is worth, should I decide to sell it?

Thanks

I have heard nothing but good things about Swedish Mausers. Have no idea on value, there are better sources for that.

I was going to say $300-$400, depending on condition and how much the buyer wants it. I have an M94 and M38 in similar condition that cost in that range.

OK, great! I probably will sell for around $325, maybe include the bayonet too.

Thanks
