Dove Hunting

Anyone know if doves are still killed much this late in the season?

I did a decent amount of hunting through first and second seasons and havent had any time since then to get back out. I live in Knoxville and have hunted mostly just the WMA's around here... (Chuck Swan and Forks)

Not looking for any secret spots or anything, just curious if i should go for squirrels and rabbits tomorrow, or if an attempt at a dove hunt would be worth it.

I have about 100 doves that sit on the powerlines right in front of my house every day, but i dont think the neighbors would take too kindly to a shotgun blast at the butt-crack of dawn

Anyways, any advice would be appreciated.

Ended up going and getting 23 doves, of which 2 were banded. My buddy and I each got our first banded birds ever, on the same day. Mine was banded in TN in August 2009, not sure about his yet.

Dont have photobucket, so didnt upload any pics, Ill see what I can do about that.
