applebee's brainerd rd & rave theater east ridge...gun friendly?

A friend and I were planning on eating dinner and going to see a movie this weekend. Since I don't go to big chain restaruants or theaters much, i was wondering if the Rave theater in East Ridge and the Applebee's on Brainerd Rd was posted? I would be nice if I could take my other "girlfriend" with me too .

The Rave would be my last choice to go see a movie. It can be over run with gang banger wannabes and there has been trouble there in the past. Not sure of the posting status but I would not be comfortable going there unarmed for sure.

The last time I checked that whole part of town wasn't safe to not carry in.

Applebee's is ok for carry and the last time I went to the Rave I didn't see a sign.

There are a lot better choices of places to eat and see a movie than anywhere near Brainerd. I wouldnt go there even if I was looking for a confrintation.

Rave is the only theater I go to, in Chattanooga. It's not posted, that I've noticed. And I don't feel unsafe there, either.

Brainerd is a very large area, I guess "worst" area is the region tween maybe Belvoir and the Tunnel, but still not in the worst part of Nooga by far.

I walk a lot, in East Brainerd, never a prob, seems safer than where I live in Knoxville.
