my first name is jackie,and yes it has been ruled to be a girls name.i blame the parents for all my school suspensions

When I was born, they seldom named girls Shannon as far as I know. That came later and now seems to be swinging back the other way. Of the people named Shannon that I know, probably 2/3 of them are men.

Beauregard is my beagle's middle name. His first name is Curtis, named for a military buddy, now in Iraq. We call him Beau.

Oh, I was outed early on. Someone got mad at me and told everyone my name and that I was a librarian.

Since I had already said I was chairman of the county library board, it wasn't exactly a secret that I had something to do with the library. But library employees also can't be on the library board. (Duh)
