I got my son one for Christmas and got me a used one coming in the mail.was just wondering if anyone here was into them?

I've been thinking about getting a Traxxas Trophy Truck, forget the exact model, for my daughter and I to mess around with...I need to stop buying guns first.

I've had the "moster piriate", Losi XXXNT, Traxxas Tmaxx and Revo, and just about every Nitro in between. Just too dang expensive to keep up the way I drive them. LOL.

I first got into rc cars in 1990 and spent the next 20 years racing them in one form or an other.

I wish I had the money back that I sank into them. If so I would have one formidable arsenal now.

So what did you buy your son and what did you get for yourself? Gas or electric?

I have a Team Associated RC10GT2 nitro stadium truck. I run it around my yard and sometimes at the city park. They are fun little toys, but you work on them as much as you play with them.

I got my son(he is 6) a electrix rukus,was cheap 120.00 with everything you need to run,did buy a fast charger and extra battery for it though.I got me a used traxxas stampede vxl roller and bought the electronics off a duratrax evader.Im just starting to get in to RC.Thought it would be something fun for me and my son to play with.Im going electric now but once we get used to it would like to play with nitro some.

My son loved his truck.the Ruckus is pretty tough.It was a little faster than I expected.The only problem I see is the cheap body,it busted up pretty good after a few hits to the front end.now just waiting for my stampede to get here....
