I noticed that Dicks had them for &250. The next day I went by one of the local gun shops that I like & told them I had plans to go back to pick one up. I was told to pick one out and they would sell it for that price.

I walked out the door with a new 870 express with 28" barrel and 3" chamber and the wood was a lot nicer than Dicks had. I am happy with the local shop & they told me they would price match anyone in the area.

I picked up a Remington 870 Express Super Mag recently. Really fun gun! As the Mason above said, don't be afraid to ask the little gun dealers to meet big retailer sale prices if you want a new one. Sometimes stirring up a little competition can get you a great price...if you want a used one for a good deal the search may take longer. Start searching craiglist or classifieds on here or around your area. One should turn up within a couple months.
