I love "zero tolerance" laws. All of these Ignorant Anti-violence and Anti-Drug laws really give me a head ache.

The arrest report

3233 SW 44 Street

Oklahoma City, OK 73119

(405) 685-7795

Here is the principal's email:

mailto:llhill@okcps.org

I will be emailing as well as calling to voice my concerns over this. Zero Tolerance policies allow administrators and teachers to be mindless lemmings without recourse. Every violation should be viewed on the merits of that case rather than throw up the Zero Tolerance flag and potentially ruin a childs life.

Edited for correction.

Anyway, this is by far the most horrid example of bull**** laws and zero tolerance I've seen. A law against markers??? Why does this fat bitch of a teacher even know about this law?? Why did the cop transport a kid over this?? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE????!!!!!!

There is precious little common sense in this country any more and none at all in our "educational" system.

I think that is her.

Yep, at 5'1" and 180#, she's a little short for her weight.

Punisher84 - don't make out while on the phone. It's rude!

Regarding the news article... Can we ban together to outlaw stupid?

I would email the principal but dont know really how to voice my concern other than sounding like a redneck, anybody got anything generic I can copy and paste?

The above gets my vote as well. I better call my Bro and Sister and tell em to confiscate all such writing devices from the Kids...and warn them about the candy canes.:shake::D

I am just glad he didn't use the marker to draw a GUN :) Had he done so i am sure the school would have been evacuated, and the 13 year old surrounded by a swat team.

I laughed for a second and then it hit me that you are probably right. That is exactly what would happen.

Possession of a permanent marker on private property!

I thought schools were public property.
