All of that pay for just sleeping? Sign me up also.

How did you like the boot dryers?

you weren't suppose to let him know that you knew what he was getting.

Rifles are my least favorite between the three. I stink at it so much, promise I will be either next to or last in the match.

Glad you had a good Christmas!

GW2and4 will be glad to hear it. I'm trying to convince him to go.

Good to hear that you may come out and beat Glenn again!

I'll try to beat him by a full second this time, but a win is a win right? It's too bad .76 seconds cost him lunch. :)

I already know how bad HOG is with his rifle, so you aren't telling me anything new. I guess when you have so many different weapons in the safe, it doesn't give you a chance to get good with any particular one of them... :D

It was 0.67 seconds, IIRC. And shot with gear that isn't IDPA legal. ;) But I'm at peace with it now since a year has passed. Haven't seen you back at any matches since then, so it would be good for you to make this one. Even if I don't.

On a serious note--I doubt I'll be awake early enough to go to this match. Who plans a rifle-only match to begin at 9am the morning after New Year's Eve?

Wasn't sure if that was an "official" time. Sounded rather example-ish in the context it was thrown out there in.

Set up is at 7:00, Shooters meeting at 8:45 first shots at 9:00. For this one the rifle match is the match, no side match. More info is on the website.

Assumed that was the case on both items (time and no 'side' match), as s.o.p. stated on website which I had read earlier, but I generally don't like to assume.

Still not clear on maximum number of shooters, but I guess I'll find out when I get there. Early. In case there is a max.

We do not limit the number of shooters at the range. Everyone that displays proper safety should be allowed to participate in our activities. We will be there the entire time regardless if 50 or 500 show up!

Side note: I whole heartly dislike Justin Bieber. My 16 month old is dancing to his music!

Just a note I NEVER SEEN ANYONE TURNED AWAY AT A CLUB LEVEL MATCH because of too many shooters. that's any club we have been at. only once at major match have i known of someone turn away.

numbers only really become a issue at national level matches, IDPA, FB3G etc. but this is only based on what i have seen myself.

This sounds like A LOT of fun. I know I won't be able to make the drive to this event, but I plan to get try to make the next.

If you wanted to participate and did not have a high capacity rifle, no worries. Please bring 150 rounds of non steel core .223 ammo because I will have two additional AR15 rifles with me. You are more than welcome to use them.

Remember: You can always shoot a pistol for no score. It will be difficult to shoot the mini poppers at 65 plus yards with a handgun but not impossible.

Hognut, my wonderfully wicked wife went out and bought some Muck boots so she could try the rifle match. They cost $60.00 plus tax so that should be good for about 3 or 4 free ( no charge ) matches. :)

Except for a torrential downpour or lightning we will be shooting

What do you consider a downpour? W of RWF

If you want to meet up at the TA Truckstop on I-24 close to Antioch early that morning(I mean early), I will drive. I setup and breakdown the stages so I plan on leaving my house by 6 AM.

It looks like the weather should be out of Dickson by match time!
