Robert,

We haven't seen you out to a match in some time, we would be glad to have you back out.

I'd like to get there...summer tends to get busy for me because my other passion (as well as profession) is cars which generally take up at least one to two weekends a month, then a once a month Saturday drill with the State Guard and the month is pretty much gone...if only I could get everyone to schedule things so they work out for ME everything would be great!!! :hat:

If the weather isn't bad I will likely be there although I suppose I should ask what kind of rifles are allowed...I would be using an FN SCAR (light - 5.56nato)...I have an EOTech red dot although I haven't really zeroed it for the weapon yet so I'd probably just use the iron sights.

All rifles are accepted as long as the round does not go through the steel (50 caliber may be a bit much for this type of match but however if you have the money for ammo and willing to buy some steel.....). No steel core ammo is accepted.

CJK,

You do not need the LaRue for this type of match. I will be shooting iron sight AK47.

Robert the challenge has been laid down and you should use a "cough cough" day. Now with that being said, the distance should scare you. You have trouble shooting targets 3yrds in front of you....LOL.

I do not like rifles but I will shoot the commie gun also. Matt spent some time designing the stages and this will be a challenging match.

Robert, no need to hide from the AK. you can come out and get smoked again... :D

Mike
