Oh, yeah. Does being a jedi count? My partner says to put that one down too.

Out of practice, but my sensei taught shotokan & kenpo-jutsu. I was on my way to black belt until I got my knee ripped out during a full contact competition. (A$$hole couldn't control his kicks.) I got a year of physical therapy and a permanently dislocated knee cap out of it. Anyway...one of my favorite instructors left for a year to train in China and came back & even trained with :) Gil Hibbens for a short time. I've met Gil Hibbens at a couple of knife and gun shows, but never got my ass kicked by him. :hat:

I study shotokan when I was younger got my black belt(1st Dan) in it almost had my second but the school shut down before I got it. My teacher was Mr. Little. Didn't do much for couple years after that then went to college starting taking a Tae Kwon Do and tai chi yang style for instructor Tant. One of the best teachers ever. I also had him help me with iaido and kendo. After that he quit but I starting taking Tae Kwon Do and some judo for instructor Ray Walkins. I also learn the nunchucks, bo, escrima sticks, and many other weapons from him. I had a friend teach me some kung fu and akidio.

how far did you get with the yang style. Sadly I only learn one form and some other things was suppose to learn the second but the other students were just slow in learning.
