Osprey in .45 Hearing safe dry, pistons for different threaded barrels and the ablity to run it on a 9mm (still hearing safe dry)

It works WELL. We were outdoors and it was comfortable without hearing protection. One day I'll get to shoot it inside and see. I'd imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable, but it made a LARGE difference in the sound popping off 230 grain FMJs

It looks long, but weight is very light for what you get. The design is like that so you can use regular sights pretty much on your gun.

Ok, that makes a little more sense. Still seems really unwieldy. Is it light enough that it makes more sense to go this route than to just put taller sights on your gun and run a smaller, fatter can?
