i use it when i reload my 12 gauge loads. I really like the fact that I can use alot less of it for the same bang. I saw where someone was using the clays powder for centerfire reloads. Can you use the titewad power the same way?

I know of a couple of folks that have used Titewad for pistol, but I'm fairly certain that Hodgdon advises against it. It's a really fast powder. I'd rather stick with a slower powder like Clays, Unique, Bullseye, or Red Dot.

It is almost too fast for much of anything in a pistol....it WILL work, but look at the range of powder loads between low and high....it is very small and there is room to way overcharge with just 0.5 grain of powder.

Bullseye is as fast as I dare go. One pound does several thousand in anything chambered .35x

I guess rifles would not be a great Idea either? I like it becuase it seems to burn so clean and it goes a long way

That'd be a very bad idea, indeed. Rifles use a slower powder than handguns & shotguns. So using one of the fastest powders out there (titewad) would not go over very well!

the fact that it is SO clean is why I like it. I shoot ALOT (5-600) of rounds from my shotgun in one day sometimes. I have never had a problem with the auto gun functioning. I'll have to look at my bushings but I think I'm using like a #16 bushing for my 12 gauge loads vs like a #30 for clays. Again I havn't changed them in awhile so I'm not sure but it was a huge difference in the amount needed.
