I bought an SU-16C for a trunk gun. It runs like a Swiss watch. The only negative is it's so light, it has noticeably more recoil that the typical EBR (which still is not very much thump). Being so light makes it feel insubstantial (not flimsy) so when I first got it I shot the crap out of it, expecting it to break at any minute. But it just ...kept ...shooting.

Because the AR is married to the recoil buffer, you can never make it store as compactly as you can the SU-16 unless you also make it an SBR.

The one i had was also a great shooter but once it got a lil hot the groups would get a lot larger. Thats another that got sold due to my divorce. Man i miss my guns. AL

Sorry about the divorce problems... could you expound on the "lot larger" part? Doesn't heat affect the accuracy of every firearm?

Heat definitely affects accuracy. The kel tec has a real thin barrel and heats up quickly. Im not a real accurate shot with a rifle. I could group about 4 inches at 100 on a rest with the nikon scope. Once the barrel got a lil warm about 8 to 10 inches. It was still a great lil gun and if you can get it at the right price. Its well worth it for a fun gun and out to a 100 yards gun. It had a bolt carrier just like an ar i wondered if it was the same. AL
