I used to do a lot of Dove hunting in Phoenix, AZ. but since I moved to Tennessee 14 years ago I've not known where to go so I've not been since then. If there's anyone in the Crossville area that'd like to let an ol' Dove hunter tag along to your favorite spot this coming season I'd really appreciate it.

There are all kinds of farms E of you on TN68. Was just up there and anywhere from Grand View to W of Grassy Cove looked like a good area. I think Id just stop by and ask if you could hunt their fields. Its a nice drive so even if you strike out its not a total loss. I know its not much help but I think it might be better than trying to hunt public land? Im in the valley and there are plenty of doves in my fields so I dont think it should be so diff up your way.

I've taken the drive from 68 to 27 a few times and thru Grassy Cove there is a lot of open farm land that might be perfect for doves. Just wanted to see if anyone here already had a good spot that they wouldn't mind sharring.

check out the TWRA website, they usually have several pay fields all across the state that usually hold some good dove hunting for the first few days. i usually try to burn these fields up for the first couple of days and then move on to my private land i have lined up to hunt. i'm north east of Knoxville though, so it probably wouldnt be worth the drive from Crossville for you. i'd guess with a little door knocking you might could find a farmer or two who would let you hunt if you dont want to go the TWRA fields route.
