I finally got my got my reloader set up and made up a .45 ACP. Yeah just one but when I handed it to my wife with a factory CCI Blazer she couldnt tell the difference between the two and when she handed them back I couldnt tell the difference either. I used 6.4 grns of Universal Clays and a 230 grn Hornady FMJ. Since I couldnt tell the difference I shot them both and still couldnt tell a difference.

I now have 50 cases primed and have gotten my powder thrower set so I can finish reloading them. This time with 5.4 grns of Universal Clays as I failed to notice that 6.4 grns was the maximum charge. I still ahve a lot to learn as i decapped 100 cases without fully running them into the resizing die as I thought resizing was a separate step. so I had to resize them on a second run.

I have got a Lyman Turbo 1200 tumbler and it works great. The press is the Lee Anniversary Kit. I will jsut have to get in the groove of this reloading thing by practicing more.

I've been using a Lee anniversary kit for more than 15 years now. I always thought I'd upgrade later, but as of yet, I haven't felt the need.

Don't know about Lee presses, yet I have been using a Dillion 550 and Square deal B since 1992! That no B.S. warranty is no joke! I won't use anything else!

I have two Lee presses and have put out over 5k rounds in different calibers between the two of them without a hitch. I havent had to worry about a warranty as I have not had anything to to replace. I have the Classic Turret and Loadmaster. I have dies for and have reloaded .38spl, .357mag, ,40s&w, ,45acp, .223rem and 5.56. I think with dies changout plates, scale, calipers etc I am in around 600 dollars for it all. I have reloaded on my friends dillon 650 and the ammo that comes off either of my presses is just as good. I think hes in around 1400 dollars for his gear and still doesnt have all of the quick change over die sets for each caliber. My equipment is going on 6 years old currently. Lee only has a two year warranty so I am s.o.l. if i have to replace anything..but then again I still am approximately 800 dollars under his initial investment. If i get another 6 years out of my current gear, I could potentially replace it all and still have spent less than he did. Just me but I weigh all the fact relatively. Get what you want and makes you feel good. Anything you buy if treated properly will give you exactly what you pay for. GL in your future reloading endeavors.

That's the reason they give a good warranty, their product works. If they thought their product was junk, they would not offer a good warranty.
