Nice rifle, looks very similar to mine. How's the trigger? Mine's got a lot of creep and I've been thinking of sending the trigger group to this guy. I've read on other forums that he does excellent work.

I've heard of Kivaari and his work, and it seems he can make the sks trigger really nice, I think for around $60. For myself, I'd rather just put up with the stock trigger, and save the $60. Mine has lots of creep, too, but seems to be "stageable." I believe one of these days I will take the trigger group apart and clean it well, and do some light polishing. I am guessing that quite a bit of the "badness" of the trigger is due to gunky cosmoline in the works.

How does it do with a scope? Keep zero?

It's a Yugo SKS ON-89 Scope. Rail drill & tapped directly to the receiver. Designed for the Yugo SKS; & rock solid! The scope comes in a pouch with tools, rubber shields, and a manual. It cost more than the rifle did.

i have a yugo and it shoots great. my plans are to put a repro pu scope and mount like on a 91/30 on my russian sks.i saw one done like that it it looked like it was made for the gun.
