Does anyone know where I can pick up a Glock at Military/LE pricing? I know I can order them from Glock for around $390, but a few shops I've talked to said they won't order in what they already keep in stock. If someone could point me in the direction of a shop in the Nashville/Clarksville area.

The only true Glock LE dealer is Craigs in Knoxville. You can order direct from Glock and send them a FFL of a Dealer that will do the DT But you will still have to pay Glock the sales tax and shipping Then when it gets to your Dealer you pay DT fee +TCIS. Buy going to Craigs= Price +Tax+TCIS.

You're military?

A Commander's signature on letterhead will get most models shipped straight to your unit for less than $425 (no tax/tics).

There's a bunch, but lately I've been using Bud's Gunshop in KY with great result.

Maybe ask Glock who they ship to near you? Seems like Ive heard people complain that the only place they could find was in/around Knoxville. Whatcha gettin? (if you don't mind me asking;))

I'm pretty sure Guns and Leather sells LEO Glocks.

Which they buy from Craig's. They are still discounted but not as much it you buy direct.

You must pay tax no matter what if you order from Glock, they collect it . Just like Walmart.

because the have a distributor in TN.

I'm undecided, I want either a 34 or a 17C. I guess I will make my run through the local shops on my way home and then give G&L a call when I get home. Knoxville is a bit of a drive for me for a firearm. If it were for a collectors peice then I'd find the drive worth it, about the only thing that would drive me out of western TN would be an original Colt Single Action Army at a hell of a deal.

From Craig's , a 34 is 480.70 and a 17C is 422.40. I have a copy of the LE price list from Glock.

Edit to post correct price from list.

Thanks for filling in the blanks. I didn't know the details of Glock's LEO program. I'm a member of the GSSF which lets civilians buy one LEO Glock a year at a discount. Its not as good a price as LEOs get but its still better than retail.

Ain't taxes great? Just think of all the good your tax dollars are doing in this great nation. :screwy:

Law Enforment officers dont have to pay taxes on theirs with a letter head. Was that other post refering that military dont have to either if they get it shipped to their unit with one?

Tomorrow I am buying my 4th LE glock this year. It is such a deal.

Glock will not ship to a miliatry unit. It must go through a FFL a 4473 has to be done by the dealer or by Glock. LEO sales are different and are controlled by the ATF because it is through your department.

I am in the military. I have been for a very long time. Army that is. I had to pay taxes. To Glock and to Craig's. With the way gun control is here (Fort), no Commander I know of will do this. It is now forbidden to even come on post without going through the Provost Marshal. You now have to check in out with them just to go to the recreation range even if you live off post.

.

I to have bought a few. It is a great program. S&W has a good one also.

Someone keep me honest if this has changed recently, but the blue box 34 has the standard connector, plastic fixed sights, mag release and slide stop lever. If you want the minus connector, adjustable sights, extended mag release and extended slide stop lever--gotta install them after buying the LE blue box 34.

At the price listed 480.70. You can get a 4.5,5.5, 8, or NY1 trigger if you order from Glock. Also you can get adjustable, Glock NS, or Trijicon sights added at

a discounted price. The 17C is 422.40. I made a mistake on pricing.

You can call Glock or Craig's in Knoxville and they can tell you what the default trigger is intalled.

All the ones I bought had the 5.5. On the 34 I don't know.

Slightly off topic but Bud's Gun Shop (www.budsgunshop.com) has an LE/Mil discount website.

Discount Guns for Law Enforcement by Buds Gun Shop (budsgunshop.com)

After you register you scan/email or fax your credentials to them. Some decent prices, but no Glocks.

This is the site I was referring to earier...thanks for clarifying. They either dropped the Glock line (doubt) or are just out of stock. My coworkers and I buy most of our Glocks from here.

GT Distributiors. GT Distributors - America's Law Enforcement supply specialist in rossville, ga (just south of chattanooga) has LE glocks. They are $398.20 - they sell to TN residents too - they have an agreement with a shop across the line in TN. give em a call 1-800-775-5996

Even though they have a GA address, they do charge TN residents sales tax.

I found that out the hard way.

AFAIK, Craig's, G&L and Coal Creek Armory are the only Glock LE sources in TN.

Here is our blog post regarding who can purchase the 'Blue Label Glock' pistols.

How about giving me a call in the morning, I bet I can sell you a civilian gun close to what you will pay for a blue label. This way you wont be tied to it thru your Govt. Agency!

I even have a used Green 34 in stock.

I'll give you a call tomorrow when I get off work, I think that I'm going to get a 30 first. Tinker with it and then see where I go from there with my Glock line-up.
