Just wanted to start off by saying hello to all, I've lurked around the forums for a day or two and decided to join up. Hope to learn from the community and maybe lend an opinion or two. Grew up just east of Knoxville, joined the military, then made my way to Nashville where I currently reside. Thanks for all the information I've already found on the board.

Thanks to all for all the warm wishes. From everything I've read on here it seems like I just became a member of a very knowledgeable group of guys & gals. BTW, I read a few other new member posts and realized I didn't really say anything about myself. Been in the AF for right at 9 yrs, had the honor of shooting competitively with a USAF team from 2003 to 2007, and of course, I'm a total gun nut. Anything related to or about guns I'm into. I currently carry from a trio of Walther's (PPS 9mm, PPS .40 S&W, and a P99), I have a few black rifles although I'm not a huge .223 fan (it's UnAmerican not to at least own our issue duty weapon) :-) I'm a huge Rem 700 fan and own a few personally built R700's. So again, Thanks to all and I look forward to the information share and discussions.
