Was it better than the first one? It had a crowd, but I had about as many guns in the truck as I saw at the show, and sure wouldn't have traded even!!!

I was wondering myself. I saw a flyer for it today, looks like it may be done by the same folks that did the one at the Shriner's Temple in Nashville a few months ago.

I went, I was unimpressed. There was nearly as much walking around as on the tables, but really, that wasn't bad, there was actually quite a bit walking around. What was bad, is the typical, miniature aisles that great american promotions (I think thats their name, correct me if I'm wrong) insists on putting in their shows. If anyone stops moving, thats it, you might as well get comfy wherever you're standing. Very hard to buy or sell anything because you're packed so close noone can really see anything that anyone else has. I did pick up a universal m1 carbine for a good price though. To sum up, very small, VERY tightly packed, and about 60% guns, 40% accessories, and or misc junk.

Thanks, coldblackwind. You saved me a 45 minute drive and a sizeable amount of frustration tomorrow. I'll spend that time deer hunting.

Agree.....I had some luck catching the peeps walking around. Added a couple nice Smiths to the fold. Then, went by the new range down the street and gave them a good welcome.

Oh yeah, definitely not worth a 45 minute drive, it's only about 20 for me. Whoever said Sparta, the one that isn't great american promotions they put on there is an awesome show for as small as it is! One of the smallest shows in the area, and probably my personal favorite!

Don't know about the Lebanon show, but I did drive up to Knoxville today to the Chilhowee show. I was looking for one thing and didn't find it. Outside of that, I thought it was a good show. Certainly a lot better than what we have been having locally.

I was wondering whether there were a lot of people at the Lebanon show. I know the last time I went to Chilhowee, it was packed and you couldn't hardly find a place to park. Today, it was no problem. It was packed with vendors, but not a lot of people.

I went by early. Lots of folks. Small-ish show firearm-wise. And as noted above, blocked aisles every two feet.

That being said, it was a lot better than the first show in Lebanon. Vendors I spoke with were much friendlier than that first show.

Didn't buy anything, but saw a couple of nice handguns that were priced reasonably, and several that were, in my opinion, priced to "dicker" on. At least I hope that's why they were priced that way. One vendor had his stuff priced "out the door," and he also had a couple that were reasonable.

I only drove about 20 minutes, and after the show, stopped by a couple of gun shops in Lebanon, and checked out the new indoor range while I was there. Took the better half, and after the rounds, stopped by Cracker Barrel. Made for an enjoyable day.
