HI..I'M A NEW MEMBER AND HAVEN'T RECIEVED MY HANDGUN PERMIT YET..I REALLY WANTED TO ASK WHERE I CAN GO TO GET ONE IN MY AREA. I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE GUN SAFTY COURSE. I LIVE BETWEEN DICKSON AND CAMDEN. LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING A MEMBER.

Since you say you already took the safety course, are you asking where to go to apply for the permit? If so, you need to go to a full service Driver's License center, you can find one here: http://www.state.tn.us/safety/driverlicense/dllocationserv.htm#full. Just be sure to bring $115 in cash for the fee. Welcome to TGO.

Welcome Don, I live in McEwen and if you live in Humphreys County the Sheriff's office is doing HCP classes each month. Give the Sheriff's office a call and they will tell you when the next class is. I think it is only $45.

Hey, Don. Welcome... I hate to be the one to break it to ya, but all caps is really annoying.... Not trying to bust balls, it is just very hard to read. I wish I could give some insight on your question, but on this issue, just like normal, I am useless as a screen door on a space shuttle.

wrench, Don is 70 years old.. I figure he can use caps if he likes.

I don't mean to sound mean about it, honest..and I figure if we can see ANY letters at that age,without the aid of a dang good magnifier.. we'll be doing good. hmhmhmhmhmhm

I am not sure that a handgun safety course is the same as a HCP course. Maybe it is???? Surely they would have explained how to go about the application process. Maybe you can call where you took it at for further explanation.

I don't mean to sound that way, honest. If anyone takes offense, they can bring me up by the short hairs and I'll crawfish...unless they're being mean first..then its katie bar the door. :D
