Purchase Denial

Im new to this forum so sorry if this isnt the proper place. Today I tried to purchase a rifle for my son for Christmas but I was denied. Now this came to a complete surprise because I bought other guns and my latest purchase was a 9mm 8 months ago. I am totally baffled as to why I got denied. The only thing I can possible think is that since my last purchase is that I had a V.A. Appointment this past summer and I had to sign an DEA form stating I get Narcotics in the mail? Would that affect this? I really disappointed.

No on the pharmaceuticals. Did your dealer put in for a appeal?

Someone stated earlier that they were having problems today with the TCIS system.

I got the form to fax in which I did. It was first thing in the morning Im sure along with 100's or 1000's of others Im sure. I really hope it is some kind of glitch.

There were MASSIVE TICS issues today but not with denials. They would just stay in "Pending" status. Don't know about the denial, but all but one of the denials we have appealed have been overturned.

I had a lady stay in pending for over 4 hours before they finally approved it. Definitely appeal. It may be something as simple as a name issue.
