It looks nice but I'm not a huge fan of holsters that have only the one belt clip off centered like that. To be honest I've never handled one like that so my misgivings may be unfounded.

But it sucks trying to drive with that thing. (firepower) :D

Looks to be some decent stuff.

While browsing around, I did see this, since I am looking for a better holster for my Rossi snubby.

Please don't pull the trigger dude!

I have a carjacker crossdraw. ACL is a good company. Since it is real leather, it takes some time to get it, but I am VERY satisfied with my holster. They can do a pretty wide assortment of pistols.

As an aside, I agree, they could use some trigger discipline. Look at the pictures for my carjacker crossdraw.

strick,

I have bought leather holsters from more than 1 company. They are not some horribly unbearably slow maker. I forget which company, but there is one leather holster maker that accepts backorders, and currently has over a 1 year wait period.

It has been roughly 4 years since I bought mine, but it was about 5 months for mine. I have bought from other companies, and the average was about 2-3. Slower than some, faster than others.

Your experiences may vary, but I won't knock them. I like my holster. It was well made.

As an aside, there are a LOT of pistols out there. It is absurd to expect them to keep a stock of ready made holsters on hand for all of them, in all styles.

From their website:

Stock on Hand

Those holsters that we have found to be most popular and regularly ordered are kept on hand in fully assembled but unmolded and uncolored condition. When an order is placed we go the rest of the way to finishing it.

This takes time. There are only a couple of us handling hundreds of orders: this is the only way to keep stock on hand at all. Allow 4 to 6 week delivery for stock items - read the note below about custom orders.

Items marked made_to_order.jpg are custom orders. These are not kept on hand but are scheduled for a production run when ordered. There may be considerable delay in making such items due to regular production commitments. Expect to wait some months. We promise the wait will be worth it! These custom orders are billed when we start the work. You will be notified by mail of the beginning and estimated completion date. Please do not call repeatedly asking about your order, as this only slows us down in actually filling it.
