Do you have proof that TSA hires sex offenders? Or are you posting a baseless lie from out of your rectum? TSA officers have to go through a strict 10 year background check and work history, which is repeated every few years. If anything grossly negative shows up, that person will be fired.

I just asked because I had seen others post before saying that the TSA had hired convicted sex offenders. But if you feel like getting rude to make yourself feel better then go for it :)

To go back to your previous quote, TSA isn't a law enforcement organization. They are security guards given way too much authority.

Oh I agree. I was just saying that because he was trying to act as though TSA employees deserved the same level of protection on this forum from criticism as LEOs have.

So let me get this straight. Flying is a right and liberty? If flying is a God given right, then where are our wings. If God had intended flying to be your right, he would have given you a pair of them.
The ability to travel freely is a necessary component of right to free assembly (as the right to freely assemble is kind of pointless if the State can simply prevent you from getting to the assembly point). While it could certainly be the case for a private carrier to have arbitrarily invasive searches as a condition of them letting you on their planes (with an associated loss of business), it is not the case for the State to unreasonably search you with no justification beyond the method by which you choose to exercise your right to assemble (via traveling).

Someone else might make a similarly specious point about God not giving us all firearms. Presumably you do not agree this is a valid or persuasive argument for gross violation of the 2nd Amendment.

How about: no earned income, no vote
Why would people continue to cooperate with a government that explicitly does not represent them or serve their interests?

For the "true jihadist". Straight out of "Man on Fire" Denzel blew up a bad guy with

something like that. If Hollywood can do it, they're already out there.

And they do now?

Here is the more important problem:

When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic. Attributed to Benjamin Franklin

When the takers can outvote the givers the country is doomed. (It is about 50/50 now)

They're ALL takers. The only difference is their choice of victims

The only thing good about what you point out, Glenn, is that most of them don't

vote, unless the SEIU et al are involved. Need to keep it that way, too.

Cooperate with a government that does not serve their interests? Yes.

The Truth About Tytler

The problem is that this alternative vision of restricted voting comes to a similarly short-sighted end when the poor and disenfranchised decide to eat the rich.

Well, I think we've had this discussion before, and my thoughts are that something like those who own property, or those who are not receiving government assistance, should be allowed to vote in national elections. If something like that is "racist or discriminatory" I don't really care. I don't like the idea of people voting themselves raises.

It goes against any idea of capitalism and it is a quick path to tyranny.
