Any special plans for Thanksgiving and the upcoming weekend?

I will probably sleep late and then head over to my sister's house for dinner.

As far as the weekend goes, I will not be one of those who is fighting other people to get the latest "made in China" goods. It does make for entertaining news watching though.

Tomorrow: eating here with most of the immediate family.

Friday: heading over to my grandmother's house in Knoxville to eat with extended family.

Saturday: gonna be in Huntsville, Alabama, visiting with friends.

I'm headed to extreme southern Indiana, to have Turkey Day at girlfriends fathers place. Yay! I have to work Black Friday, and will probably do nothing on the weekend.

We're hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year, so it means that the in-laws will be over, and it'll be a cleanup project when it's all said and done... ugh. Besides that, the two things that I am looking forward to doing, are Eating and Shooting. Mike doesn't know yet, but I'm just going to go to his place... and eat his food, and shoot, too.

I'll be cooking the turkey and such tomorrow, but since we just had to take my wife to the dentist a couple of hours ago, I doubt she'll get much out of it.

( After waking up with the side of her face swollen up like chipmunk, and an emergency trip to the dentist, she's now got a couple'a spare holes in her jaw that're gonna make eating a little tough for a couple'a days... )

Other than that, we have no plans at all... We're not gonna get out or get into anything, we'll just hang out here at the house.

With my arm in a cast, my choices for the holidays are very limited. The options for self defense are a lot more challenging while appearing to be an easier victim. This is one of those times I can appreciate a high capacity magazine.

Come on with it. Bring shotshells and clays with you.

I'm hunting tomorrow morning. Eating and shooting in the afternoon.

Having lunch with the family tomorrow. Going to spend some time with my Grandfather, my Dad, and my Uncle tomorrow night. My Uncle is going to work in China in a few months so I want to hang out with him some before he leaves. Friday I will probably get dragged along to go shopping. The on Saturday I am headed to Knoxville to go to the UT/UK game. Hopefully UT can pull out the win. Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving with your families and friends.

Due to the wife's misfortunes at the dentist yesterday, we're gonna postpone the whole Turkey thing until Friday or Saturday, when she might have a better chance of eating it.

So, I'm off the hook with the kitchen for another day or two. Yay me.
