DEFENSIVE SPRAY and EXP. BATON CLASS

​We will be conducting a Defensive spray and Expandable Baton class on Sunday, December 19th, 2010. *Anyone interested in attending, please call us @ (615) 876-3010 or fax @ (615) 876-3011. The price of this class will be $90.00. *If you wish to attend only one of the two classes, the cost for one class is $50.00.The basic baton class will be from 8:30am-12:30pm and OCAT will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The instructor for this class will be CMSgt. Charles Cook, USAF (Ret.). Remember we have Armed and Unarmed Guard classes scheduled and Armed Renewal classes every Saturday. Does this count for security officers as well as civilians?

I would suspect so, but check with the shop to be sure.

Does the armed security guard certification include it?

Probably the unarmed does not?

Armed guard does not include it. The TN law says the security guard must have seperate training for every weapon used besides his firearm.

yep. I'm certified for 9mm, .45 and 12 gauge, but not baton. This is the class I was looking for(baton). Not really interested in getting sprayed, I havce enough sinus problems without packing themfull of pepper spray.

Harold, Dunndw, and I made it out to the class today. It was a good class if you are considering getting certified.

Speaking as only one of the three of us that stayed for the OC Class it was a quality class as well. However just cant say it great class anytime you get to be OC Sprayed.

Better ya'll than me :-) The baton part was informative even amusing with "agent lizzard" trying to justify breaking a baton over someones head. My wife seemed much more relaxed the rest of the day, perhaps because she went after the training pad with some gusto when I was holding it
