I have an 'old' model Vaquero in 45 colt thats fun to shoot when I can afford the ammo, but nothing beats my Springfield Loaded 1911 for sheer pleasure shooting.

Love my shiny .45's!

Do I have to choose?

My favorite gun is my Sig 226 Navy. Just a dream to shoot and accurate, but so is my Ruger SR9c.

For just fun it's hard to beat a Judge full of buckshot.

Then there are the 1911's... so many choices, so little time.

The ole Wilson Protector... enough said!

Rifle would be a Henry 22 lever gun.

Out at the farm, not much is more fun than seeing what the Rossi 12ga coach gun can destroy -- melons don't stand a chance!

(Bumped)

Sorry for bumping old threads some sites you wouldn't believe the crap you catch for it, whether your a new member trying to post or not.

I have two that I take always, Superior Arms AR-15 7.62x39 for the Rifle, cheap ammo and in my opinion and likeness my favorite gun to shoot of all the ones I own. I've always been an AR guy, pistol wise would be a Taurus PT111 9mm Luger sub-compact. For a protection weapon it wouldn't be my choice due to the LONG trigger pull. Nice for safety reasons not so much when being fired upon. However, just to go blow threw a clip once you get the double tap going it sings. It's accuracy isn't the best but you don't really care when it starts to sing.

It's got to be my Dan Wesson PM9. I think that thing can find the target even if you close your eyes.

My old Star BM 9mm. Not a beauty queen, but one of the best shooting guns I've ever owned.

My Heritage Rough Rider .22LR goes with me every time I go to the range. It is a hoot to shoot, and cheap, too. I have to admit, though, that my Henry Golden Boy is quickly gaining ground on it as far as my favorite shooter.

My Rugers: (Old) Vaquero .45 LC and SR556, especially if I'm going with my sons. If its just me, nothing is more fun than my Springfield loaded Commander. I could shoot that thing all day if ammo wouldn't break me.

It always comes back to the Ruger SR9 for me...

I usually take a few guns to the range; Sig Sauer P250, Diamondback .380, Ruger SR9 and S&W Sigma... and I often try one or two range guns to see what I think. But rarely do I ever finish up without going back to the Ruger SR9 and putting the last 50-100 rounds through it. It continues to be the best feeling gun in my hand (next to only the P250) but the trigger is so smooth and the recoil is non-existant. I always put my best groupings together with the SR9, so it's accurate "for me" (I don't believe guns themselves are inaccurate, just the person shooting them) and at the end of the day, I have a hard time finding anything better.

I'm desperately wanting to switch over to the P250 as my EDC, I purchased it with that purpose in mind, and I love the way it feels in my hand. But I am convinced that I will never like the trigger quite as much as the SR9 and the spent casings flying at my face makes it a little difficult to truly fall in love with.
