I have a new found respect for full size service revolvers. I was out at the range yesterday with my Father's Glock 10mm and my Beretta 9mm. One of the older guys was out there with his 4inch S&W 686. He shot some of the 10mm and I shot some magnums through his 686. That 686 has a great trigger. It had probably been 15 years since I shot a full size revolver like that, and I was shooting it just as well as the Beretta and Glock that I'm used to. He said the trigger is stock. It was like butter compared to my Smith J frame airweight.

My next gun purchase will be another full size revolver. I have owned a S&W 686 4" and a Ruger GP100 in the past and loved both. I am hoping to get my hands on another here soon. Probably after X-mas when the money vacuum has been removed from my pockets.
