Questions for the weary. don't know why, but I bought an AK

I just got a side folder AK(AMD65?) for what I considered a good price, and

now have some questions. It's the tanker's gun.

On the bottom of the receiver behind the forward grip, it has stamped,

"SA 2000M"

"TGI KNOX TN"

Who is that? It rings a bell, but I can't put a finger on it. Are they the

ones who made it compliant? I'll get around to pics in a day or two. Can't

do that right now.

Should have said "from". Too excited about my new toy.

I thought that was the name of the place, thanks. That's where I heard that name:on here!

This gun seems to be barely used. Nothing sloppy about it. It has a new comp(looks new, anyway).

Now I've got to take it home and play with it.

TGI used to assemble rifles, but now that part is handled by Waffen Werks is my understanding. Does the receiver have a FEG marking on the side? "SA 2000M" was a designation for single stack receivers, but a lot have been converted to dual stack. More than likely this is a TGI assembled rifle using a Hungarian sporter (importable) receiver.
