For whatever reason, Bud Adams seems solidy entrenched behind VY. Vince being Bud's hand-picked QB says quite a bit about the possible future of Fisher as head coach. Adams has fallen on the VY side of pretty much everything that has happened to bring questions about the maturity and ability of Young. Fisher pointed out tonight that he has one year remaining on his contract and hopes to finish his career here. But, and these are my thoughts, not Fisher's, Bud Adams is very fond of Young and Jeff Fisher has not been a great advocate of Young, especially since being told that Young was THE choice for his (Adams') team right at draft time these many years ago.

I'll some it up this way...

VY SUX

Channel 4 did a poll and 69% of fans said let him go. At least Smith was trying to hit Moss and had a beautiful throw to him in the end zone that was called back.

Dunno. Couple of the guys on Sports Talk here today were talking about how Titan's owner is a real Vince Young fan, and that Fisher could be the one to go.

OS as usual is on the Money Vince is not going anywhere Bud Adams loves him Fisher is on the chopping block Bud wants to win before he dies and its easier to fire the coach than flip the roster

No way in hell VY could lead the team out of a paper bag, much less lead them to a Super Bowl. He is gone for the year anyway because of his thumb.

Vince was a winner until he left college.

There... fixed it for ya.

But what has Jeff Fisher lead them to in 15 seasons? Vince was a winner until he got to TN maybe its not all his fault

There is a huge difference in being a winner in college and the NFL. I think VY's problem is alot more mental than it is a lack of talent.

He has the talent, there is no doubt about that. One day when he puts his big boy pants on and crosses into manhood he will be a great QB. The Titan's don't have that kind of time. They need a real QB now. Smith looks good for his first NFL game. Glad he is getting a shot.

Maybe since Peyton Manning hasnt signed another contract with Indy yet, Bud Adams will throw a hundred mil his way and get him to come on down to TN next season. Wishful thinking I know.;)

There is speculation from what I have been reading from local sports writers that fisher is probably going after this season and may take over as the coach of the dallas cowboys.

If Adams requires Fisher to retain VY, then Fisher should leave because his leadership and role as coach will have been undermined and his effectiveness would have been greatly diminished.

This has been the case since Fisher has been coach. It was pretty much the same thing, yet to a lesser degree, with Steve McNair.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see Fisher with the cowboys next year. I can't imagine it would cost that much to buy out his contract
