Training Companion to Remington Golden Saber 165gr

Does anybody carry remington 165gr Golden Saber? If so, do you have a FMJ round that you train with that matches pretty well with it?

(I can't stand UMC ammo; it is the filthiest shooting ammo I have ever seen.)

Winchester makes a 165 gr. FMJ, but you'll probably have to buy on-line. I've shot a lot of the 165 gr GS. I couldn't tell any difference in impact or recoil from 180 gr. loads.

"Advice that you didn't ask for warning."

The majority of your defensive training/practice should be 0-15 yards.

If you agree with this, then the grain weight of your training bullet really doesn't matter. Yes, I've found that most 165gr rounds recoil slightly more than the 180gr rounds...but it's not enough to matter.
