James Yeager is notably one of the foremost experts on functional failure under stressful conditions... so if he says that DPMS sucks in a fight, I'd believe him. It takes one to know one.

I have AR's by all the big names. RRA, Bushmaster even an AR10 by Armalite. I switch to a DPMS 308 and I like it. I have seen all makes fail while on two tours as a drill sergeant at FT. Benning and Ft Jackson. I have seen all types to include HK, FN and AMU rigs fail at the in service and international competitions held there. It's one thing to

throw rounds at paper and another to carry one as your primary weapon day in day out while getting shot at. There are sure a lot of choices. Pick what you like. Everybody has an opinion.

I know a lot of people that like DPMS as I do. Good Luck with your build. Go have fun.
