American Tactical Imports 1911. Anyone have one?

I'm starting to see more and more of these guns everywhere. I'm a true Glock guy. Though I've been thinking of buying a 1911. The info I have on these are they are made in the Philipennes. They are fairly cheap for a 1911. They people I have spoke with about them say they are great guns. Mostly just thr gun store rep. Not sure if he was just trying to sell or not. Any info on these will be helpful.

I have the Titan FX 45 in stainless. It has peformed flawless with all ammo. The fit and finish is beyond pistols that cost twice as much.

The trigger is just as good. I got a chance to hold one is Matt Blue that was just as nice. Both of these are 3" officer size.

I have one, and loved it until the recoil spring broke yesterday.. Until then, it was flawless.

If you are looking for an inexpensive 1911 it is hard to beat the STI Spartan STI International - The STI They are assembled in the US with US internals on imported frames and slides. The are very nice for the money.

I seen 3 of em in Farnsworth firearms a few days ago.Went to shoot at the range there wed and there was only one left. They were all full size but didnt ask bout em. Usually if Rob sells you a gun there and it dosent turn out right .He will make it right. Im not trying to sell for them just always had good experiances there. AL

It was Rob at Farnsworth that I had talked about them with. I know Rob well and have bought from him 4 times and shoot there weekly. He said they are very good guns. I was checking on what others thought.

I have the Titan Stainless and it shoots well. The recoil spring guild rod stop broke ( my fault for not reassembling it properly ) and they shipped me a new one no questions asked. After that I put another 100 rounds through it without any problems.
