I have an issue with my GSG-5 and spoke to ATI today. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and kind. I described my problem to the gunsmith and he said send it back along with all my mags and they will send it back running like a top. Anybody deal with sending a gun back to them? Any ideas on turn around time and follow through? As long as they work like they talk it should be a good experience.

Everyone who I have read about using the ATI customer service was really happy about it. Fast turnaround and problem solved.

I remember talking with you about it having some troubles at the range last Sunday, but I think we started on something else before we looked it over. Hope they get it worked out for you!

It's jamming way too much. I took the bolt apart to detail clean it and upgrade the screws as some have suggested. I noticed a little dent on part of the bolt. I'm pretty sure that's causing the issues. I talked to the ATI gunsmith and he told me of a few upgrades that it needs too.

Look at the lowest part of the bolt in the pic. It has a small dent on the edge.

Well, I waited to send the rifle off until last week. I was mostly nervous about shipping a gun through UPS. I sent it and glad I did. They replaced the barrel and about 8 or 9 other internal parts. I don't know if they always change so much or the parts were defective. I was thoroughly impressed with their turn around time. Maybe I do need that GSG-5 pistol after all.

Glad they got it all worked out for you. Have you gotten the chance to take it back to the range yet? Seeing that you thought it was the bolt and they replaced the barrel hopefully they actually fixed the problem, instead of just replacing a bunch of parts and sending it back to you!

I had jamming issues with my gsg and even though I wasn't the original owner they took care of it and even threw in some extras. It runs like a top now with the federal red box. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
