Gun Free Zones & Liablity

Not sure where to post this new thread here or under Concealed Carry and Self Defense. so I placed it under CC&SD. Check out the responces from two of our state officals, Senator Jackson & Rep Tidwell. In a nut shell if you make a Gun Free Zone you are liable if anyone is hert becuse of your Gun-Free-Zone.

The state of Tennessee has designated the entire state a “gun free zone†for all law abiding citizens. Only those that wish to purchase the privilege from the state can be armed.

The state can’t be held liable when you are a victim of a crime; so they won’t be able to burden business owners with that liability either.

If state legislators were truly serious about your safety they would throw out the HCP and recognize the 2<SUP>nd</SUP> amendment as an individual right.
