What grip should I get for my G27?

I love my G27 and overall like the size of the grip. However I have noticed the stock backstrap really starts to wear into my hand right between my right thumb and index finger. I figured maybe a soft overlay grip may help with this. Does anyone have a recomendation for a grip that will add some cushion while not making the grip grow to bulky?

Most any neoprene slip on grips are going to add girth. Even the screw on rubber grips are thicker than stock grips.

I have seen Glock grips sanded down ever so slightly to relieve the bite. It doesn't take very much sanding with 600 or even 1000 grit paper.

All you want to do is remove the sharp peaks of the stippling, checkering or what ever it's called.

Thanks for the info. I will look into that. Odd thing is when I shoot the rental G27 at Range USA I never have the problem but every time I shoot mine I notice it.

Could be the rental has a little more wear than your gun.

I can't personally vouch for this but I have seen a number of people who have used it and it does not appear to add much, if any, thickness to the grips. It's called AGrip. Here's the link.

Talon grips.

I had Talon Grips on my G22. Loved the way they felt when I shot the gun, but they made carrying concealed somewhat difficult as they rubbed and got caught on my shirts, or jackets which covered the gun and holster. That's just me, others might have better experiences as they are quite popular.

Personally I like the pachmayr tactical slip on grip that I have for my XD 40.
