Sorry for not introducing myself. I joined in November.

My name is Glen, and I'm a gunaholic.

I grew up in a dusty town in western Colorado with a population of 250. The grocery store was 16 miles east and the hospital 50 miles west. The only things that ever happened there were (1) Kid Currie robbed the bank and was killed in the hills outside of town and (2) Butch and Sundance blew up a train about 10 miles west of there. I work in Commercial Finance in the Transportation Industry. I've been shooting and hunting since I was a child. Married with 2 children, both kids in the Army (son has 2 tours in Iraq and daughter a tour in Afghanistan). A brother that is a retired Navy SEAL, another brother that is an assistant principal at a Colorado Metropolitan High School, and I am the under-achiever and gun nut of the family.

I have been collecting and shooting 20th century military small arms for over 25 years, primarily American and European. I am a former FFL holder and former Class III owner. Because of my career, I transfered/moved 14 times in the last 20 years and arrived in Murfreesboro in June 2007. My territory is Tennessee and Kentucky, so I'll probably be traveling to a gun store near you.

My collection once focused on Pre-1920 Colt M1911 and M1917 and New Service Revolvers, Springfield Sporters and NM, Lugers (and 1910-1945 Handguns and rifles in general) and Pre 1985 HK longguns. Although I continue to be interested in Target arms 1925-1970 and military small arms 1900-1970, recently I have discovered S&W revolvers after exchanges with the Rabbi on this forum and am more inclined to grab up 1962 and earlier wheel guns at this time.

If one of my posts offends you, as my wife says "don't mind him, he's a yankee" -- even though my ancestors were Indian fighters on my father's side and on my mother's side served under both General's Forrest and Sedgwick...

I think Tennessee is the most beautiful part of the country I have ever seen and I'm glad to be here and a member of this forum.
