I wonder if anybody is adding a rail to the baby Glocks?

You can't. Not enough room for 99% of accessories to fit in that tiny space between the muzzle and front of trigger guard. I guess you could if you removed the front of the trigger guard and permanently kept the light or laser on to act as the new trigger guard.

XD Subbie finds the room, pretty much same dimensions there. Always wondered why Glock didn't.

Seems over kill for a 9MM,I shoot my G27 .40 which kicks way more than a 26 with

homemade ammo that kicks way more than the packaged stuff you buy

and I have not dropped my gun - ehhhh to each his own but it looks but ugly to me

The Glock grip modifications are beneficial in that they realign the grip into more of the angle of the 1911/BHP bringing the bore axis and recoil into a more level plane. They are easier to grip, handle and shoot comfortably and do not shift around or twist in your hand when wet. Also, you’re your drawstroke and target acquisition is pleasantly different. I’ve shot enough rounds through a G22/23/17/19/26/27 to tell you it’s an easy pistol to shoot well with but can be improved. If it wasn’t so darned expensive I’d seriously consider having a 2nd Gen G22 tweaked.

You'd better call Gaston, because he's putting a rail on the 4th gen 26/27. Somebody had better tell him he can't do it!

:D

actually, according to everything I've read on the 4th gen 26/27 they will not be a rail. Unless you have seen something I haven't?

Why in the hell would you need a rail on a "pocket" gun, which Glock has yet to produce. You gonna use it for home defense or shove a light/laser combo half as big as the gun into said "pocket" or holster?

Likely a lot of fellas on this forum better at shooting handguns than I am but I did some shooting with my Edward J. Almos (Flinstone) G26 at Cheatham County range today. Very easy gun to shoot at 25m. And did shoot an externally bone stock 17L against it that has BoMar sights. 17L has an 8&3/4" sight radius with the BoMars and the Glock with a Novak rear has 5&7/16" sight radius. Althought I hit the center bull and pretty much kept everything in the 10 ring with Russian ammo with the 17L I was keeping it in a tea cup saucer at speed with the G26 at 25m. My only complaint in the comparison was that the G17L was a little "slick" grip-wise fore and aft for precision shooting, ammo was cheap, looks like I need to get my tools out and rectify that "slickness" in the 17L.

Hey, what I said came straight from Glock. If they are modifying the Gen4 sub's to accomodate a rail, then great. I'm not tryin to start some rail war. The guy asked why they didn't have rails, I told him. If that has changed then that's wonderful.
