I received my C&R licence today. It will be a couple weeks before I place my first order but I am now in the club.

Excellent. Remember make copies of your Original. Do not sign the original... And put it in a safe place...

Take copies with you to your fav gun shops and send them to your fav websites, too.

Enjoy!

My favorite weekend shooter....the 91/30 bought about 4 years ago. Have well over 1000 rounds through it and 1st shot last Saturday was bullseye at 125 yards. Very satisfying.

Ditto on that.

I'm planning on applying for a C&R, now that I've been bitten by the milsurp bug, but there's one part of having the C&R I'd like some more info on:

Several have mentioned the "fringe benefits" of having a C&R, which includes discounts with some dealers...seeing as how I'm apparently on a quest to increase Midway's share value, I'd like to know more about these discounts and perks, if anybody cares to tell.

MidwayUSA - Dealer Qualifications

Brownellls has the same offer on their site.

Discount just depends on the item. From barely anything on ammo to some pretty substantial discounts on high end scopes. On one purchase I saved $140.

With everyone getting C&R’s the discounts don’t appear to be as good as they were a few years ago.
