Probably not much interest here but I thought I would throw this out here. I've been coming for last 18 years. We're overlooking the pits and cranes this year Great time, boats are amazing. The live races are on fri (3) and sun (3) 10:00,12:00 and 2:00

This brings back some memories for me. My wife (GF then) was assigined, as a civilian contractor, to a project @ NAS KW the summer I graduated from UT. I had no job so I stayed down there for several months. The bldg. she worked out of was on the water where the boats for the races were staged. The bldg. which was warehouse then has been remodled and is now a student center for oceanography. We got married on the beach which was gated off after 9/11 and still go down there a couple of time a year.

The scenery is usually always more exciting than the boat races are!
