We used a Caracal in our Toys for Tots match this past weekend at ORSA. Straight out of the box, 84 shooters ( some much less experienced than others) put a total of 504 rounds through it Saturday without hiccup, zero limp wristing problems. The gun was then given away after the match to a very happy shooter.

I thought it might be just looking at it. Looks like it would have a CZ kinda feel.

Got to molest one a while back a SC model. I like the feel I am waiting for some accesories and support for them. I can see one fitting into my EDC rotation, the feel and pointability (if thats a word) was better than my HP or XD.

There are threads on steyrclub.com and caracalforum.com . I ordered one from compactfirearms.com and one from shooterconnectioncom. A friend picked one up near Knoxville, once I shot it I had to have one. There is some talk that these will be unavailable for a while due to a dispute between Waffen Werks and Caracal AE, All I know is what I've read on the other forums and that they are fantastic guns.
