Need info for AR build

I have been saving up for a new Kimber ultra carry but with the up coming election I see a need to get an AR built while I still can. Any info for the location of a cheap lower would help also, checked al the local Gun shops today only one that had them they where all ready built and cheapest was $235 i'm looking more for a stripped lower for 80-100. thanks

You probably aren't going to find a stripped lower for your price range locally. Most I've seen are 100-125 bucks.

still at 100-125 i feel this is reasonable, BTEAMS ARMS in Lexington has some for $155. I know a guy with an FFL i'm going to see what he'll charge me to get an essential arms lower.

I bought two today,consecutive numbered Double Star for a $100 ea out the door. I figured I better do it now before it was to late. Now to start finding pieces!

do you mind me asking where you found them at that price? I just started looking for lowers and have noticed the local shops are in the $140, $150 range.

Steve at Silvers Firearms near Chattanooga has a bunch of Stag lowers for $109...

I'll mention that shops generally won't carry them because they are a crappy low margin item. the parts are even worse because anyone can just mail order them from dozens of suppliers.

That said, I usually have Essential Arms lowers for about $110. I currently have a DPMS for $120.

I got a Doublestar stripped lower for $112 OTD from a dealer at the Knoxville show this weekend. I guess the sale price was around $93 ++.
