I can't believe you've never been to a gun show! There was a good one here in Knoxville this past weekend at the EXPO Center. Google "Tennessee Gun Shows" and see when and where the gun shows are inTennessee, and also click on the coupon that gives you a $1 off the $10 entry fee. I always go, mainly because they are a lot of fun and I enjoy seeing friends and meeting new ones! However, I don't know anything about the Chattanooga gun show. Good luck!

This show is usually very small and more flea-market junk than guns, but one never knows you may find something there!

Lighting inside is a big problem, so it is very hard to really check a gun out really good!

I will stop by there Sunday!

No big dealer's are ever there.

I will be going. The last few shows at the Alhambra Shrine have been pretty crappy. Usually the show at Camp Jordan is a little better.

Yes the Camp Jordan shows seem better than the Chatt Alhambra or Natl Guard Armory shows. But I occasionally find good stuff at the Alhambra show. Found a decent-enough price on a Beretta Storm rifle at Alhambra last year.

I'll probably go unless I get side-tracked. Prentice Cooper range was closed for hunting last two weeks, so ought to try to get out there as well.

I'm going to stop by Alhambra in the morning but I've been pretty dissapointed the last couple of times I've been. Doesn't seem to be as much individual sales as other shows and as always the regular dealers are overpriced.

Bright side is I feel that my $6 admission is going to an organization that does a great deal of good :)

What really bothers me is the poor lighting there. I am sure others have felt the same way. You need to carry a flashlight with you to "examine" anything you are interested in. And I have great eyesight.

I went and the Mrs. went with me. That is a first gun show for her. I bought several magazines and accesories for my AK . We had a good time .

I went on Saturday. It seems like eveytime I go to this particular show I tell myself that it will be the last time. I don't understand it. The show keeps getting worse each time they have it. Very unfortunate.

I was able to make a decent trade but most of theses guys have stuff that is insanely over priced. Saw a used 10 rd Chip McCormick mag that a guy was asking $45 for when a brand new one is around $29! As usual mostof the good deals were from individuals.

The dealer prices were really high on everything. I was able to get really good deals on 2 hard to find guns I have looked for for several years, but they were from people outside or just walking around. I went for 2 Ruger NMVs but my dealer didn't show up because he never seems to do well there.

The heydays of the Alhambra show were the 80's thru the early 90's.They stopped having them for a long time and started back here recently. These shows are a shadow of what they used to be.
