A guy at my highschool couple years ahead of me had one.  I dunno if that counts as knowing him or not, I don't even remember his name but I remember the car.   That was probably class of 90?

I have not seen one up close since, they are kinda few and far between.

How many remember this tidbit. Because of the way Delorean tried to get money to keep the company afloat, the car became known as the snowmobile.

Yea, Delorean became a major Cocaine trafficker  to try and finance his auto company and got some prison time for his efforts and the car company went away.

he never moved any drugs he was arrested trying to buy them and never served time in prison "DeLorean was found not guilty because of entrapment on August 16, 1984"

Of all the threads to resurrect....this would've been my last guess

This thread wasn't resurrected, we're actually back in 2010.

I think there was one turned up at the British car show last time I went. The 2013 show was a couple of weeks ago though.

There could be one at the Lane Motor Museum but I don't recall seeing one there (it had some other really cool cars though).
