Damn, that was a pretty quick answer to a question I didn't think would have been answered :D

What kind of shape is it in?

I know of a place that has two. I don't know what they want for them or even if they are even for sale. But there they sit behind the fence.

Thanks guys but I'm not looking to buy one. I just need the use of one for a project I'm working on :)

Wanting to build a time machine? I have a used flux capacitor for sale.

Those things are junk. That's what I used here and all it did was hum...

I drove one for a week back in the mid '80's. I was totally underwhelmed. It is under-powered, has very poor weight distribution, bad handling, and an unreliable French V-6 with a clunky gearbox. The only postive thing I have to say about it is that it still has exotic looks.

A bunch of pissed-off Libyans blew mine up. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, blew it up, that's the ticket.

Honestly, I've only ever seen one in person once. It was going down the Interstate and looked to be in pretty crappy shape.

Or know someone who does?

This is a serious question!

What do you need to know? I know a guy down the street w/ a very nice one. I'm sure he would let you come to the shop and look at it. He does street rods and such.

Not sure if it's the same one, but it looks like the time-car that a husband & wife team out of NC built.

They drive it all over the country doing exhibits & rentals. Theirs is by far the nicest looking time-car conversion that I've seen. Sherwin-Williams had a convention at Opryland Hotel a few years back, and they hired the car for their show.
