Interesting. Lots of folks are giving discounts. Never thought about asking about the discounts, all I have is 6 active NG with 2 inactive (1990-1998). No ID but I do have a DD214.

The only place I have ever gotten one, was at Sport Clips, they offer them. The person who cut my hair is a friend and new of my former service.

I'm pretty sure a DD214 would work as proof of service at most if not all places listed.

When I was in AIT at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX just about every business in the town gave a military discount. It was the most military friendly place I've ever been. People would even stop you to thank you for your service. And that was well before 9/11. The first time it happened I almost fell over.

To all you vets and vet families out there, thank you so much for your service and sacrifices. God bless America.

I'm gonna pass on going to Outback also. Instead, I rather go to Applebee's a couple times throughout the day. Call me greedy if you want, but there's more than one Applebee's here in Nashville. They'll never know when and where I'm gonna show up.

Yea, I find it interesting that places that are Posted are making offers. They are getting cheap advertising but if a Vet with a HCP wanted to carry in they would be in violation of the law, how nice of these posted restaurants.

For the guys in Memphis, I saw on Facebook today that RangeUSA will be giving all vets and current military members free range time on Veterans Day.
