Someone launches a missile, from 35 miles off the California coast, and the US military doesn't even know who launched it?

How it's not a threat, etc, but still not saying what/who/where it actually was.

I seriously doubt NORAD does not know where it came from. If it was a mistake by the US, that is disturbing. If if was something else, that is very disturbing.

In all likelihood it was just the contrail of an airplane. Out on the ocean, perception can play tricks on you. If it's coming toward you it would look like it's going up.
