My wife left the house carrying tonight for the first time. She's had her HCP for about 6 months or so but would never carry before. She saw the story about the Conn. home invasion today and it pushed her to do it. And she DOES know how to shoot.

The other night, my wife was leaving to go to choir practice. She walked into the garage and closed the door, then the door opened back up and she walked past me, went into her dresser drawer and grabbed her PT709 and slipped it into her coat pocked. I didn't say anything but when she saw the smile on my face she just smirked and kept walking.

My wife's first time to carry was with me and she wasn't nervous...

Had hoped she would experience "knowing" everyone could see her gun.

I call my "BOSS" things like "sweetie", "honey", "babydoll" and anything else to keep her happy.

She's a better shot than me.
