New Mexico: There's Trinity Site out in the middle of nowhere. Other than that, what David said. Oh wait...that's the reason it has Trinity Site. Stop for gas....keep going.

The Trinity site is only open 2 days a year, the first Sat. of October and 1st Sat. of April.

And NM is not that bad, at least not as bad as Memphis...

Sadly we stayed in Albuquerque both nights that we were passing through NM. The second time we were coming back down US 550 from Colorado and passed through Bernalillo before picking up I-25. I really liked what I saw of Bernalillo, so you are correct that NM isn't all bad. And I liked the Sandia Peak park too. I just wasn't big on Albuquerque at all. Too many cholos running around in ABQ.
