Thank you guys for the help. I thought I'd post a pic of my first reloading outfit. Still waiting on a few items from Midway (the digital scale is on backorder).

Your flourescent light may mess with your digital scale. Digital scales are very susceptible to electrical and magnetic interference from a variety of sources, including flourescent lights.

My personal recommendation would be a single stage RCBS. I know there are other bells and whistles out there that might make other manufacturers look like they are better. The thing that stands out with RCBS is their no nonsense no questions asked warranty for the life of the press. I have several presses, a RCBS RS with a Piggyback I, an old RCBS RS, 2 Lee 1000s and a early Lyman turrest press. Even after all these years and thousands of rounds loaded on the Piggyback, all I have to do if i break, wear out or lose a part is to call customer service and the parts are on the way at no charge. Their warranty on electronics is only a year but the presses are for the life of the press.

The problem that I have with the newer RCBS presses is the fact that they are made in China(the Rock Chucker at least, maybe others). Hornady, Forster, and Redding also have lifetime warranties just like RCBS and are all US made. Don't get me wrong, I own and use several RCBS tools, but I would never purchase a newer RCBS press.

LEE CLASSIC TURRET.

DON"T FORGET the Auto powder measure riser and the Auto powder measure swivel. You will thank me later.

You will need the Perfect powder measure for rifle. The Auto won't throw enough powder for rifle.

I like a digital scale. You can find a good one now for $20.

Another good reason to go with a turret is get a turret for each caliber.

Look at Hodgdon HP-38 powder (Winchester 231 is the exact same powder). It will load all of your pistol ammo.

This is the best place that I have found for LEE stuff. https://factorysales.com/
